Kate's finally on solid foods now. She has been such a good eater so far. We'll have to see once we move on to the veggies. Just out of curiosity has any actually made their own baby food? I've thought about it, but I just don't know if I can commit myself. It seems like a lot of work. On another happy note Kate is sleeping through the night. I forgot what I full nights sleep felt like. What a gift!

Zachary would not take any baby food until he was about 8 months, so instead of wasting it, we bought an ice tray with a lid and froze it into portions then put it in ziploc bags. That worked okay. Also we did grind some ourselves...but that was a big hassle. He preferred food off our plates!

Good for Kate! And good for you...the whole sleep through the night thing. I have also thought about making my own baby food, but you just can't beat the convenience of the jarred stuff! It is also really nice and easy for when you go out or to grandma and grandpa's. If you made your stuff you would have to worry about it going bad while you were out and about. A jar is good as long as it hasn't been opened. Text me your new number...I need to call you! My phone got replaced and I lost ALL of my text messages.

Oh--that sweet face! With Brayden He started hating baby food, so I bought a food processor and I would grind up whatever we were eating that night or i would by ravioli and grind it up and do applesauce a lot too!
She is so cute! I am so glad we finally got around to meeting her. I love those brown eyes. Let us know when a good weekend would be for you guys, because we can probably go camping whenever. So let us know. I am excited to go.
